The Perris Valley African American History Committee would like to thank our city leadership for their timely response to the COVID-19 epidemic. We are grateful for the numerous resources and continuous updated information that has been made available to the Perris community. We offer our deepest condolences to those families who have lost loved ones as a result of this pandemic and pray for continued strength and comfort.

In addition, we stand with many, many others in expressing our deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. George Floyd and the families of many other African American men and women who have lost their lives as a result of police brutality. We will continue to engage, empower and enhance the residents of the city of Perris and surrounding communities as we strive to bring about much needed change in our nation while promoting peace and unity.
